With a 170+ strong team made up of climate scientists, geospatial experts, data scientists, financial analysts and policy specialists, and global partnerships with local experts and world-leading research institutions, our ratings and risk tools can help you make risk informed decisions on carbon projects of any type, at any stage, anywhere in the world.www.bezerocarbon.comJob Description:The role includes a combination of internal and external commercial engagement focused three key areas:● Training: working with the various stakeholders, formulate and execute an internal and external client training plan ● Go-to-market: take on the “final-mile” go-to-market from Product and Ratings team ● Sales specialist: represent BeZero as the Platform specialist in partnership with sales and customer success The BeZero Platform is the bedrock of the business and is being continually enhanced to address both pre-issuance (primary) as well as post issuance (secondary) market needs.
This role will help build the company’s penetration within all industry groups and personas managing risk in carbon markets globally.Responsibilities: ● Define, lead and ultimately professionalise BeZero’s training programme (internal sales training and external product training) and final mile go-to-market activities● Work in partnership with Business Development, Sales (Account Executives) and Customer Success to help build pipeline, close deals and renew business.● Understand the problem sets various market participants have in carbon markets and explain how they can be addressed using the BeZero platform.
Where there are gaps in the offering, liaise with product and ratings to identify potential product enhancements ● Join important preliminary meetings as a subject matter expert ● Partner with Account Executives before and during key sales calls/meetings, ensuring clear articulation of the Platform product proposition ● Assist in navigating decision-making processes, including identifying and engaging with key users of platform ● Partner with Customer Support post-sale to ensure key clients / users are getting the most out of the platform, are aware of new enhancements and identify any gaps ● Partner with Marketing to adapt or create new global sales materials, case studies and presentations to align with market needs and how the Platform helps solve these problems● Establish a regular feedback loop on usage trends, competitor activities, and client needs as an input to strategic decision-making● Participate in events, industry conferences, roadshows and client meetings in person globally to evangelise the BeZero Carbon Platform value proposition.
You will be our ideal candidate if: ● Have at least 5 years professional experience in financial and/or environmental markets with exposure to product, sales ideally in a specialist capacity including client interaction ● You care about the climate and carbon markets and are excited by solutions for decarbonising our economy.● You are comfortable when faced with ambiguity, both technically and organisationally.● You’re happy to tackle problems without a clear definition or solution.● You love to write and are great at communicating complex messages in simple ways.● You’re an accomplished project manager and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.● You have strong communication, analytical and listening skills, with a positive approach● You’re comfortable in a fast-paced, high-energy, in-office environment● You can collaborate with various stakeholders internally (Product, Ratings, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing).● You are a highly collaborative individual with a strong sense of ownership who wants to solve problems that drive business value.● Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and some experience working on CRM systems (Salesforce).
