As the Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will form part of our Indirect Global Strategic Sourcing team. You will bring indirect sourcing experience and a passion for sourcing the best products and services, with the best suppliers keeping cost and operating expenses low.
You will plan and execute project-based sourcing strategies across a cluster of indirect spend categories with a primary focus in Facilities, Logistics and Operations categories.
What You'll Do
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop smart, innovative procurement strategies
Managing vendor relationships and leading complex RFx processes, from identifying business needs to selecting top-tier suppliers
Negotiating directly with suppliers, ensuring we get the best value without compromising quality
Building strong, lasting partnerships with internal teams, driving business results that exceed expectations
Keeping our procurement contracts and agreements running smoothly and ensuring purchase orders are properly initiated
Staying ahead of industry trends by continuously enhancing your knowledge of the supply market and supplier capabilities
Partnering with the analytics team to uncover key insights about spending, contracts, and procurement strategies
What We're Looking For
A procurement pro, with significant experience in indirect sourcing or category management within large, complex organizations
Your expertise lies in the Logistics (Freight, Courier, Warehousing) Facilities (Property, Utilities, Consumables), Operations (Fleet, Plant equipment, Packaging etc.) categories
You have a knack for structuring deals and delivering commercial solutions that delight stakeholders
Your negotiation and influencing skills are second to none, and you thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments
You’re a natural leader, able to guide cross-functional teams toward success.
You’re a relationship builder, with excellent interpersonal skills and a deep commitment to stakeholder engagement
You’re a strategic thinker with a head for solving commercial problems and a keen eye for business
Tertiary qualifications – Bachelor of Business, Commerce, Finance or Supply Chain or related is desirable
We work flexibly here at Aristocrat and have a hybrid work model. This role will be based out of our head office in North Ryde 2 days a week with free onsite parking provided, with the flexibility to work in the office and from home.#LI-MS1
