This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our rapidly growing software company. Idera has been growing organically and inorganically through acquisitions with more acquisitions planned for the future. Idera recently sold for ~$3B and is owned by three of the premier private equity groups in the United States.
We are looking for a skilled financial analyst to provide accurate and efficient financial reporting. You will create standard and customized ad hoc reports for the FP&A and executive teams.You will play a key role in supporting various activities in critical financial analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Meet with division leads to deliver key insights on budgets using meaningful analyses that may affect financials
- Own ARR and revenue reporting and forecasting.
- Assist the Accounting team with revenue recognition calculations
- Assists with preparation of monthly financial packages and variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
- Track & maintain KPIs
- Provide EOM reports for C-level executives and the board members.
- Analyze monthly budget-to-actual and forecast-to-actual variance reports to maintain expenditure controls and accurate forecast process.
- Effective Communication and Presentation Skills: Clearly present complex financial data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Strategy.
- Take creative liberty (in secure non-production environments) to deconstruct existing processes and systems and find new paths forward.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 2-3 years of related experience
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office (including advanced Excel skills)
- Advanced data manipulation skills in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct), FP&A software (Workday Adaptive), and Salesforce is a plus
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong ability to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
- SQL knowledge is a plus
- Exposure to budgeting/forecasting and reporting cycles
- Strong analytic and advanced financial modeling skills
- Excellent problem solving, verbal and multi-tasking skills
- Able to work to tight deadlines in an efficient and effective manner
- A proactive, independent thinker who can work with minimal direction
- Extreme attention to detail
