We are looking for 2 Bartenders to join our team.
Hourly: $30.00/hr
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including wine-based cocktails, beer, wine, and sake.Deliver friendly, attentive service to guests, promptly addressing complaints to ensure customer satisfaction. Respond to guest and supervisor requests as needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar. Wash and restock glassware and utensils, ensuring variety and cleanliness.Process cash transactions accurately, manage cash drawers, and reconcile receipts to record sales in compliance with check and cash handling procedures.Verify customer age by checking valid photo identification. Monitor alcohol consumption and enforce responsible service practices, refusing service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons.Guide guests through the menu, including sushi and Japanese cuisine, assisting them in making informed choices.Collaborate with the sushi chef and dining room staff, ensuring seamless coordination and accountability for technical service aspects.Train new team members on their specific work areas, equipment use, and cleaning procedures.Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master the details of new products.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with potential customers, build rapport, assess their needs, and adapt pitches dynamically based on the interaction.Strong time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities efficiently.A minimum of two years of sales experience with a proven track record of success in utilizing inside sales techniques to generate leads and drive upselling opportunities.Capable of overseeing and ensuring the seamless operation of bar services in the absence of a supervisor.
