Your role within the company will be working with a team of other professionals to provide excellent Windows Enterprise Server support to high-level military and civilian customers. Diligent has a wide footprint in Government IT and a proven track record.
The Windows Enterprise Server Support Specialist will provide the following support:
- Provide IT systems operations, administration, and maintenance
- Provide server operations and management
- Provide 12x5 (24x7 on-call) Tier II/III level IT operations support at the Pentagon or at its COOP location for Windows servers, clients, and networking portions of JSSC-supported systems
- Support the management of JSSC’s environment (hardware and software) to ensure maximum availability for JSSC customers.
- Maintain server operating systems, COTS, and GOTS software at the versions required by the JSSC.
- Engineer hardware and software architectures for MS Windows, UNIX/LINUX, Oracle, Access, PostgreSQL, DB2, and Cloud infrastructures (e.g., server virtualization VMware).
- Perform required non-emergency disruptive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades (e.g., network operating system upgrades, server refresh) during non-business hours unless approved by the appropriate Government representative.
Minimum Position Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Security+ Certification
- 10 years related IT experience
- 5+ years experience in MS Windows server operations and maintenance
- Experience with Vulnerability, Configuration, and Asset Management tools
- Experience with POA&M management
