We are looking for a motivated candidate that is agile and has strong organizational skills to assist the department in corporate accounting operations. Responsibilities:
- Assist the accounting team with daily, weekly, and monthly accounting operation processes such as daily bank reconciliations, weekly AR follow-ups, invoice coding reviews.
- Assist with preparation of regulatory filings.
- Compile data and perform analysis for accounting department.
- Reconcile assigned accounts and complete accounting workpapers.
- Book journal entries as required.
- Follow up on outstanding items.
- Assist with department projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate rising junior/senior or graduate student who is seeking a degree in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in MS Office products, especially Excel
- Professional, confident, and appropriate communication and interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and a cooperative attitude with staff
- Good organizational and time management skills
