Apply today to be a part of our talented multimedia team for the summer 2025 Internship Program! Our communications team works across departments to advance our mission serving education. You’ll support our engagement with internal and external audiences to help them understand the value of UE membership, the liability insurance landscape, and ways we can partner together.
You’ll have the chance to draft original content, contribute creative ideas, and conduct research to inform future communications initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Help develop and implement communication strategies to enhance UE’s visibility.
- Produce short-form multimedia content to highlight UE’s workplace culture and mission of service to education.
- Research opportunities for growth in constituent engagement and refresh monthly social media editorial calendar to support those initiatives.
- Analyze earned media reports using Meltwater tracking software.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, ability to adapt writing style, attention to detail, and customer service orientation
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, LinkedIn, and Canva (preferred)
- Multimedia skills creating engaging short form videos
- Skill in writing and preparing short, accurate, appealing, and high caliber content
- Demonstrated experience creating mission-focused and inclusive communications
- Knowledge of media analytics and reporting tools to track earned media

The below annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.Salary Range$24—$24 USD
