FS Investments is seeking a motivated and skilled Salesforce Engineer at Analyst/Associate level to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Salesforce development, customization with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and expertise with ETL processes, while embracing a technology-agnostic mindset aimed at optimal problem-solving.The successful candidate will tackle complex business challenges using a first-principles engineering approach.
The successful candidate is expected to:
- Solution Design & Implementation: Design and implement solutions using the Salesforce stack as a core platform while leveraging non-Salesforce tools to deliver optimal solutions for achieving business goals.
- Technical Expertise: Apply a deep understanding of CRM platform, Apex design patterns, integration patterns, anti-patterns with due consideration to governor limits to build reliable, high-performance systems.
- Cloud Integration: Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure to optimize storage, compute resources, and address governor/license/platform limitations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver comprehensive solutions.
- Ownership of Deliveries: Take end-to-end ownership of deliveries, covering requirement detailing, building, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Programming Knowledge: Possess experience with at least one programming language and a solid understanding of data structures.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in enterprise software development, preferably within financial services.
- Frontend Development: Experience in UI development and customization using LWC, JavaScript and CSS.
- Backend Development: Expertise in backend development with Apex, Flows, and REST APIs, Bulk APIs.
- Data Management: Proficiency in SQL (SOQL, SOSL) and experience with ETL tools, data migration, and data governance.
- CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab or Bitbucket.
- Data Visualization: Familiarity with tools like Salesforce Einstein, Power BI, or Tableau for data visualization.
- ETL Expertise: Experience implementing ETL pipelines, data governance, and data quality best practices.
- Modular Development: Exposure to 2GP packages and modular framework-based development.
- Must be able to work out of our office located in the ORR in Bengaluru.
