Cleared Senior System Engineer

At Bestgate, we’re driven by excellence, teamwork, and a commitment to empowering our people.Bestage is looking for a Senior NiFi Systems Engineer to lead data transformation initiatives, maintain advanced NiFi solutions, and ensure technical excellence across enterprise projects.
Required Skills:
- 15+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering role with a similar scope and responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with program personnel, government stakeholders, and senior executives.
- Technical leadership ensuring integrity, quality, and completeness of work within ISO/IEC 15288 process areas.
- Expertise in Apache NiFi, dataflow architectures, and Linux administration.
- Proficiency in data types (JSON, XML, JCID) and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is preferred. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience in engineering will be considered.
- Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
Desired Skills:
- Ability to build custom NiFi processors and troubleshoot complex dataflows.
- Experience mentoring and collaborating in team settings.
- Understanding of enterprise data processes and scalable system integration.
*Salary Range: $165,000 - $210,000**The provided salary range is an approximation based on current market data and may vary. The final offer will be determined after carefully considering the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to the position.
