Role Overview
As a Lead Data Scientist at Vidoori, you will spearhead data-driven initiatives and provide critical insights that guide business decisions. You will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to uncover meaningful patterns and deliver innovative solutions leveraging data science techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage data science projects from conception to deployment, ensuring impactful outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business problems and develop data-driven strategies.
- Develop and implement advanced algorithms and models to extract value from complex datasets.
- Guide and mentor junior data scientists, promoting growth and excellence within the team.
- Conduct predictive and prescriptive analysis to derive actionable insights.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and integrate them into existing processes.
Skills and Experience Required
- Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data science, with demonstrated leadership in projects.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar for data analysis.
- Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks and visualization tools.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of statistical methods and data modelling.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
