UE provides liability insurance and risk management services to almost 1,600 members representing K-12 schools, colleges, and universities throughout the United States. Our Resolutions Department partners with outside law firms to resolve claims and the Resolutions Operations team helps to ensure smooth workflow throughout the claim resolution process from a financial, technological and strategic planning perspective.United Educators (UE) is now accepting applications for a 2025 summer intern in our Resolutions Operations Department.
This year’s program will run from May 19, 2025 through August 2025. The UE Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with meaningful work experience within the insurance industry and provide UE with a diverse group of talented individuals for future long-term career opportunities. As a UE intern in the Resolutions Operations Department, you will support projects and operational activities for the Resolutions department including end-to-end department business process mapping, planning and preparation for technology projects, information security and data governance, claim quality assessment, best practices for vendor management and claim expense and outcome trend analysis.If you are a motivated student looking for a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience working with a company whose mission is to help educational institutions prepare for, respond to, and recover from adversity and risks, this Summer Internship Program may be for you.
Qualifications:
