This role is focused on attracting new clients, and cross-selling to existing clients from other businesses in Securitize.Knowledge Requirements
Sales and Business Development Skills:- Expertise in lead generation, consultative selling, and negotiation.
- Awareness of key sales tools, CRM systems, and business development frameworks.
Digital Assets and Blockchain:- Strong understanding of cryptocurrencies, blockchain technology, DeFi, and the digital asset ecosystem.
- Familiarity with the operational, compliance, and regulatory nuances of managing crypto funds.
Fund Administration Expertise:- Knowledge of fund structures such as hedge funds, venture capital funds, and private equity funds.
- Understanding of fund accounting, reporting, tax compliance, and NAV calculations.
Regulatory Landscape:- Knowledge of financial regulations impacting digital funds, such as AML, KYC, and reporting standards (strongly preferred).
Market Insights:- Awareness of current trends in digital assets, blockchain, and fund management, including emerging opportunities and challenges.
Experience Requirements
Relevant Industry Background:- At least 5–8 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management within fund administration, fintech, or financial services.
- Prior experience working with crypto funds, digital asset managers, or blockchain-related businesses is highly desirable.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:- Proven ability to identify, engage, and close deals with fund managers, family offices, or institutional investors.
- Experience in managing long-term client relationships and delivering customized solutions.
Track Record of Success:- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Ability to grow a pipeline, close deals, and scale a portfolio in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strategic Collaboration:- Experience collaborating across marketing, product, and operations teams to align service offerings with client needs.
Technical Proficiency:- Familiarity with fund admin platforms, blockchain tools, and reporting systems.
- Ability to translate technical details into client-focused value propositions.
