- Provide leadership and guidance to staff by fostering an environment that encourages employee engagement, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Oversee timely and accurate delivery of client reports such as NAV packages, GAAP/IFRS financial statements, and capital statements.
- Supervise the work of Senior Managers and staff by providing guidance and motivation to drive performance.
- Drive projects including progressive development of the product offering.
- Enhance service offering and ensure profitability.
- Act as an escalation point for clients, investors, and other third parties.
- Develop training documents and policies & procedures.
- Act as a member of the Disaster Recovery Team.
- Stay current on professional and industry developments and best practices through continuing education trainings as they relate to the business environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 8+ years of combined experience in Fund Administration and financial services/accounting such as tax and audit.
- CPA or a CFA designation is required.
- Experience with fund accounting software including Geneva, InvestOne, VPM, FundCount.
- Experience working with a diverse mix of funds including ETFs/mutual funds, private equity, hedge funds, and crypto funds.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong communication skills.
