Your Role at Impact:
Fintech, a group within Impact.com, is a fast-growing team of talented engineers that provides innovative financial technology solutions to partners and brands. As a Front-end Engineer, you will join the Fintech team and play a key role in engineering the user interface and user experience of our financial platform, which is one of the most important areas in our product.
What You'll Do:
- Design and develop user-facing features using modern front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue.js)
- Create and maintain front-end micro UIs that make up the platform
- Work closely with the front-end enablement guild to ensure alignment
- Collaborate with other developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality, responsive, and interactive user interfaces
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
- Write and maintain technical documentation
- Troubleshoot and debug web applications
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior front-end engineers
What You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JavaScriptframeworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Experience with front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Grunt
- Experience with CSS pre-processors such as Sass or Less
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with browser compatibility and cross-browser development
- Experience with accessibility and web standards
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile optimization
- Experience with web performance optimization
- Strong understanding of web accessibility standards and principles
