Mission Focus:

Support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Information Management & Technology Directorate (ITD) in providing enabling and secure technologies, applications, and services anywhere, to their workforce, mission partners, and external customers to effectively deliver relevant data, information, and situational awareness to successfully perform the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction and Emerging Threats mission.
Clearance: Active TS/SCI

Location/Flexibility: 

Primary place of performance Fort Belvior, VA / Remote work ~25%

Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for overall program performance and shall serve as the Program Management lead and our single service-delivery manager.
  • Lead the relationship and interface with the CO and COR(s) for matters of operational and technical delivery.
  • Lead and manage a multi-functional team responsible for the design, engineering, integration, implementation, testing, deployment, maintenance, review, and administration of the complex infrastructure, hardware, and software required to manage the security and risk posture of networks and resources effectively.
  • Ensure the appropriate usage of security products and technologies to protect the organization’s systems and information and enable achievement of the organization’s objectives.
  • Formulate and enforce work standards, assigning contractor schedules, reviewing work discrepancies, supervising contractor personnel, and communicating DTRA programmatic and technical policies, purposes, requirements, and goals to subordinates.

Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of experience with supporting Enterprise Information Technology (IT) efforts for a government agency (preference Department of Defense)
  • 10+ years of experience with managing large IT efforts, including supervising substantial operations encompassing user systems, integration, and training in diverse operating environments with people of various job categories and expertise
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience serving as the single Program Manager on one or more program of a similar scope, size, and complexity
  • Experience managing cost-plus contracts with award-fee structures
  • Experience delivering executive-level briefings and presentations
  • One or more technical, cloud cybersecurity, or ITIL certifications
  • One or more DoDD 8140.01 (or legacy DoDI 8570.01-M, as applicable) certifications

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times.
