Project Planning and Coordination
- Develop and manage construction schedules, ensuring all phases of the project are completed on time.
- Coordinate between architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure everyone is on the same page.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment.
- Develop project budgets and manage costs, ensuring the project stays within financial constraints.
2. Site Supervision and Safety
- Supervise day-to-day operations on the construction site.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Conduct safety inspections and lead safety meetings.
- Monitor and enforce proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and other safety measures.
- Resolve on-site issues related to safety or work conflicts.
3. Quality Control and Compliance
- Ensure construction activities meet the design specifications, local building codes, and other regulations.
- Perform regular inspections to ensure quality workmanship.
- Address and resolve any deficiencies or deviations from plans.
- Manage inspections from local authorities and obtain necessary permits.
4. Team Management and Supervision
- Supervise and direct the work of subcontractors and laborers.
- Assign tasks and ensure that all workers are performing their duties according to the schedule.
- Resolve conflicts and maintain a positive working environment.
- Ensure that all workers and subcontractors are adequately trained for their roles.
