Staff Accountant

Accounting Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyze daily and weekly accounting processes and workflows - both automated and manual
  • Responsible for the maintenance of restaurant and corporate level general ledger accounts and trial balances
  • Preparation of multiple financial statements and supplemental reports
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely reconciliation of certain key accounts
  • Responsible for the preparation of journal entries and other aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close process
  • Prepare various financial and operational reports both scheduled and ad hoc
  • Crosstrain with others in department

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated Superior Customer Service Skills and Confidentiality
  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance - good working knowledge of GAAP
  • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
  • Extensive knowledge of data entry management
  • Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
  • Experience in retail or restaurant accounting preferred
  • Netsuite experience preferred
