Accounting Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze daily and weekly accounting processes and workflows - both automated and manual
- Responsible for the maintenance of restaurant and corporate level general ledger accounts and trial balances
- Preparation of multiple financial statements and supplemental reports
- Responsible for the accurate and timely reconciliation of certain key accounts
- Responsible for the preparation of journal entries and other aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close process
- Prepare various financial and operational reports both scheduled and ad hoc
- Crosstrain with others in department
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated Superior Customer Service Skills and Confidentiality
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance - good working knowledge of GAAP
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- Extensive knowledge of data entry management
- Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel
- Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
- Experience in retail or restaurant accounting preferred
- Netsuite experience preferred
