Weekly on-site team, partner, and client meetings are expected regularly.

Position Description:


Ardent is seeking a dynamic Capture Manager to spearhead business development and capture efforts under the FAA’s Electronic FAA Accelerated and Simplified Tasks (eFAST) contract vehicle. This role focuses on identifying, pursuing, and securing opportunities aligned with the FAA’s mission, leveraging innovative solutions and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in federal contracting, expertise in capture management processes, and a keen understanding of FAA standards and eFAST MOA requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Capture Development
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with FAA stakeholders, industry partners, and internal teams.
  • Identify and qualify eFAST business opportunities through comprehensive market analysis, networking, and industry events.
  • Develop and execute strategic capture plans with a one- to three-year outlook, targeting eFAST opportunities and ensuring alignment with FAA objectives.
  • Analyze competitive landscapes to inform win strategies for specific task orders.
  • Capture Management
  • Lead the capture process for eFAST task orders, including crafting capture plans, value propositions, and winning proposal strategies.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to design innovative solutions that align with FAA requirements and differentiate Ardent from competitors.
  • Oversee proposal development, ensuring compliance with eFAST task order requirements, packaging standards, and inspection criteria.
  • Manage the proposal lifecycle, including writing, editing, and ensuring alignment with the capture strategy and FAA’s mission needs.
  • Customer Engagement
  • Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with FAA representatives, understanding their goals, challenges, and priorities.
  • Provide tailored insights on how Ardent’s solutions can address FAA needs, including digital transformation, quality assurance, and infrastructure modernization.
  • Market Research and Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth market research to uncover new eFAST opportunities, focusing on FAA’s IT, operational, and infrastructure needs.
  • Leverage federal procurement tools such as GovWin and FPDS to analyze trends and inform capture strategies.
  • Stay abreast of FAA standards, including packaging, marking, storage, and quality assurance protocols, to ensure compliance and competitive advantage.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork
  • Partner with internal teams, including technical, project management, and executive leadership, to ensure alignment and support for eFAST business development efforts.
  • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging innovation and knowledge sharing to drive capture success.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred, will accept experience in lieu of a degree).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, capture management, or related roles in federal contracting.
  • Strong understanding of FAA procurement processes, including familiarity with the eFAST MOA requirements and FAA ConWrite clauses.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing capture strategies for federal contracts, with experience in managing task orders under IDIQ vehicles.
  • Expertise in federal contracting regulations, including FAR and DFARS, and adherence to quality standards such as QSPs and Higher-Level Contract Quality Requirements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical solutions effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities and competitive positioning.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with FAA stakeholders, industry partners, and internal teams.
