Who We're Looking For:We are looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Engineer to join our growing development team at Fintel Connect. In this pivotal role, you will develop and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience across both frontend and backend. Your work will be central to maintaining high quality and reliability, directly impacting not only our affiliate marketing product but also other key products in our portfolio. What You'll Get To Do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and Postgres DB.
  • Build intuitive, responsive user interfaces with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or similar).
  • Develop and maintain server-side components and RESTful APIs using languages and frameworks like Node.js, Python.
  • Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests for both frontend and backend using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, etc.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security, identifying and resolving bottlenecks across the stack.
  • Seek out and implement innovative solutions to complex technical challenges, aligning with departmental and business goals.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and participate in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Keep documentation up-to-date for features, components, and workflows, ensuring clarity and consistency across the team.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver technical solutions that meet business needs and timelines.
  • Use Git/GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code reviews.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned to support the team and business goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, primarily working with the MERN Stack. DevOps Proficiency: Hands-on experience in building and managing deployment pipelines, with a deep understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Distributed Systems Knowledge: In-depth understanding of distributed architectures and the ability to evaluate and implement scalable solutions.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, to integrate and deploy new technologies.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a passion for overcoming challenges and driving continuous improvement.
