What You'll Get To Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and Postgres DB.
- Build intuitive, responsive user interfaces with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or similar).
- Develop and maintain server-side components and RESTful APIs using languages and frameworks like Node.js, Python.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and functional tests for both frontend and backend using frameworks like Jest, Mocha, etc.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and security, identifying and resolving bottlenecks across the stack.
- Seek out and implement innovative solutions to complex technical challenges, aligning with departmental and business goals.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code and participate in code reviews to ensure best practices are followed.
- Keep documentation up-to-date for features, components, and workflows, ensuring clarity and consistency across the team.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver technical solutions that meet business needs and timelines.
- Use Git/GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code reviews.
- Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned to support the team and business goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, primarily working with the MERN Stack. DevOps Proficiency: Hands-on experience in building and managing deployment pipelines, with a deep understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Distributed Systems Knowledge: In-depth understanding of distributed architectures and the ability to evaluate and implement scalable solutions.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, to integrate and deploy new technologies.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a passion for overcoming challenges and driving continuous improvement.
