What You Will Do


As a Recruitment Lead, you will play a pivotal role in hiring the people who will drive Choco's mission forward. In this role, you will spend approximately 80% of your time on hands-on recruiting activities, working closely with stakeholders and candidates, and 20% of your time managing and mentoring a small team of recruiters.Your hands-on recruiting activities will include:


  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the full recruitment cycle for several leadership, tech, and operations roles, from sourcing to offer.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a partner to hiring managers, delivering a great experience to both candidates and hiring managers.

  • Sourcing and Attracting Talent: Proactively source, pipeline, attract, interview, and close candidates 

  • Market Understanding: Develop a strong understanding of the talent market, industry trends, technology, product processes, and the competition.


  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent, adjusting as needed to achieve hiring goals.

  • Reporting and Analytics: Track and report on recruitment metrics, providing regular updates and insights to senior management.

What You Will Need to Be Successful in This Role



  • Proven record of building recruitment powerhouses

  • Understands how to translate our company culture and values into the people we look to hire

  • Can keep the bar high and will never sacrifice for speed

  • Knows how to hire go-to-market AND technical roles (Engineering, Product, Data & Design)

  • Ideally you are based in our Berlin office (HQ) but accepting candidates for our Choco London office
