In this role, you will be working on products that improve quality of life for patients, workers and consumers worldwide. Our products include sterilization and cleaning monitoring, mail in spore testing, and continuous monitoring products to name a few. Our services include validation and calibration services, sterilization cycle development and validation, and contract laboratory testing. Key Job Responsibilities:
Inspection and Testing:
- Conduct detailed inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify compliance with quality specifications.
- Utilize various measurement tools and techniques to assess product quality, including visual inspection and functional testing.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Accurately document inspection results, including non-conformance reports and corrective actions taken.
- Prepare and maintain quality reports that summarize findings, trends, and recommendations for improvements.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality-related issues in a timely manner.
- Communicate inspection results and quality metrics effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Quality Improvement Initiatives:
- Participate in root cause analysis for defects and collaborate with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous quality enhancement efforts.
Standards Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality procedures.
- Assist in conducting internal audits and support external audits as needed.
Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to junior quality control staff on inspection techniques and quality standards.
- Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement among team members.
Data Analysis:
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, deviations, and areas needing attention.
- Utilize statistical tools and software to assist in quality analysis and reporting.
Equipment Management:
- Ensure that inspection equipment is calibrated and maintained according to established protocols.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and coordinate maintenance as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in quality control or inspection with significant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes, inspection techniques, and measurement tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with quality control software and data analysis tools.
