The Opportunity
We are looking for a Renewal Manager to join EUNA’s Sales team. As a Renewals Manager for Euna Solutions, you will be responsible for overseeing the renewal process for existing government agency clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction and retention. You will work closely with government clients, sales teams, and other internal stakeholders to drive renewal revenue, identify upsell opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of government procurement processes, excellent communication skills, and a track record of successfully managing renewals in the SaaS software industry.You will collaborate internally across Customer Success, Sales, Finance and Product to maintain and expand our customer base.This position reports into the Senior VP, Sales & Customer Expansion.Key Responsibilities:Renewal Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive renewal strategy that includes identifying opportunities, timelines, and goals for renewals.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Account Management teams to align strategies with customer needs and goals.

Contract Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the end-to-end renewal process, ensuring all renewals are completed on time and in accordance with contract terms.
  • Review contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness, with a keen eye for "clean" execution.
  • Working with AM create quotes and where applicable new contract terms in advance of renewal date.
  • Provide Finance with information necessary to process approved quotes into customer invoices for the customer.
  • Communicate and execute price increases to customer in prescribed timeframe and method as per contract.

Collaboration:

  • Maintain strong business relationships with your key internal partners including Legal, Finance, AM, AE, CSM

  • Work with AM/CS to:
  • Review Book of Business as part of Quarterly Business Review to get ahead of key customers, renewals and establish approach for the upcoming quarter.
  • Assist with Pricing concession within approved parameters.
  • Assist as Signatory within approved parameters.

  • Liaison with Carahsoft where needed for Carahsoft Renewal Business.

Client Engagement:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients to understand their unique requirements and preferences.
  • Proactively engage with clients to discuss renewal options, address concerns, and provide exceptional service.

Issue Resolution:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding issues related to contracting, invoicing, and deliverables.
  • Effectively and efficiently resolve client concerns, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Act as point of escalation for AM/CS for “At Risk” renewals

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Maintain meticulous records of contract renewals, client interactions, and performance metrics.
  • Analyze renewal trends and produce reports with insights for leadership to support decision-making.
  • Leveraging a data driven approach, identify trends in customer renewals, expansion and churn to mitigate future risk.

Cross-Selling and Upselling:

  • Collaborate with Sales teams to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients.

Compliance and Legal Oversight:

  • Ensure contract terms adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams to address any contractual discrepancies or issues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in contract management, renewals, or a similar role, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to review, edit, and execute contracts accurately.
  • Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills and a track record of client satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, contract management tools, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of SaaS solutions and experience in technology sales is highly desirable.
