About The Role
VSCO is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our team. The team's mission is to provide the best platform to create, connect and earn, by making every user journey frictionless, secure, and personalized. The team's scope spans across the most business critical user experiences, empowering you to drive significant impact and grow in your career. You will have the opportunity to implement elegant user interfaces with an attention to detail, and build and ship complex product experiences on frequently updated business critical iOS apps.The right candidate for this role is scrappy and hands-on and thrives in environments that are “team first”.

In This Role, You Will
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across teams to understand the vision, technical direction, and roadmap
- Architect and implement best-fit solutions aligned with the company's strategy to deliver maximum value to our creators
- Build clean, testable, maintainable, and idiomatic code, and drive the team forward in relation to code quality
- Deliver solutions both in collaboration with other engineers or independently, depending on the scope and schedule of the project
- Collaborate to solve business problems by understanding our users' needs and develop appropriate technical solutions to address them
- Drive and contribute to all stages of development cycle: technical design, testing, peer review, and development of scalable, high-quality production code
- Measure impact on system and business, effectively and actively debug and resolve issues
- Demonstrate a bias for action, adopt a solution-oriented approach, and cultivate a growth mindset to drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to a culture that values quality, trust, and curation through collaboration and alignment
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience working on mobile applications on iOS (Swift and/or Objective-C)
- Knowledge of established and modern mobile tech stacks: SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine
- Understanding and technical application of clean architecture and modularization, to deliver testable and scalable software
- Experience owning projects end-to-end from initial prototypes to customer roll out
- Professional experience working on mobile consumer applications
- A great prioritizer who can effectively assess, designate and deliver value for the product, company, and stakeholders, making right-fit and strategic trade-offs to drive success
- Comfortable with ambiguity and being scrappy and resourceful

Compensation
The base salary for this position may vary based on several factors, including the approved job level. The base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $190,000. Salary is one component of our total compensation package. This position also qualifies for equity (i.e. stock options) and is eligible for discretionary bonuses based on performance. The benefits available for this position include flexible time off, a 401K retirement plan, insurance (medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D, short and long term disability), and 11 paid holidays.
We also provide paid sick time as required by state and local law. Additional benefits and perks contained in our standard employee benefits package are also offered for this position.
