About the Job
The Senior Accountant is an integral member of the Accounting and Finance team at Infillion.The Senior Accountant will be responsible for review of revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP, review of monthly capitalized software in accordance with GAAP and assisting in the reconciling and preparation of financial statements. The role will be based in Granville, Ohio. The role is a hybrid role and requires 2 days on-site.
What you will be doing:
- Prepare monthly/weekly borrowing base reports
- Prepare journal entries monthly
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Reconcile plant, property, and equipment and record corresponding entries
- Reconcile intangible assets and record corresponding entries
- Reconcile prepaid expenses monthly and record corresponding entries
- Reconcile deferred rent and record corresponding entries
- Review monthly revenue and coordination with sales teams to ensure appropriate revenue recognition under GAAP and record corresponding entries
- Review monthly capitalized software and coordinate with software engineering teams to ensure compliance with Company policy/GAAP and record corresponding entries
- Review bad debt reserve and record corresponding entries
- Assist the Accounts Receivable specialist with managing customer collections and aging of receivables
- Assist with annual financial statement audit
- Assist with special projects
- Other tasks as requested
What you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Desire to obtain CPA preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Advanced computer skills, MS Excel in particular
- Proficient knowledge of GAAP, internal controls and financial reporting
- Knowledge of NetSuite preferred, not required
