WORK ENVIRONMENT:
We are a remote first company with the exception of a few positions being onsite in our designated locations. The positions which are remote you will need to be able to travel a few times a year.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director of Strategic Projects will act as the “right hand” partner to the EVP of Solutions Consulting, supporting the company’s operations and growth by ensuring initiatives and priorities are executed efficiently. This is a key role in the organization with an opportunity to coordinate and optimize projects, people, and processes across the company to maximize impact. This person will consistently look to improve processes across all delivery organization teams. They will audit our current procedures and find ways to improve them both internally and for our clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prioritize and manage key strategic projects on behalf of the EVP of Solutions Consulting
- Projects may include:
- JIRA project plans & dashboards
- TestMonitor setup & implementation
- JSM templates & workflows
- Capacity planner & resource management
- New internal project requests - Provided by EVP
- Manage deliverables, budget, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with team members to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
- Proactively identify and address potential roadblocks or inefficiencies.
- Work with team leads to align their efforts with overall company goals and priorities.
- Help streamline internal processes, fostering better communication and collaboration across departments.
- Assist in tracking team performance and progress toward key goals and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, information technology, finance or related field
- Knowledge of the project management tool, Jira, is required
- Working knowledge of programming techniques
- Knowledge of root cause analysis (RCA) tools, brainstorming tools, and planning tools
- Knowledge of basic IT structure and roles
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management at the company
- Ability to function as a team player
- Ability to research and solve problems with minimal supervision
- Well organized, detail-oriented, results-focused and able to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possesses a sense of urgency and understands how to achieve desired results
- Exceptional time management skills
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- $130,000 - $150,000 Annual Salary
- Annual Cash Bonus and Equity Options commensurate with the role level and experience
