Job Description
Role Type: 6 months contract to hire

What You'll Do
We are seeking a skilled Network and IT Support Manager to manage our client’s network infrastructure, support a mobile workforce, ensure security and compliance, and collaborate with Managed Support Providers (MSP). This role requires strong technical expertise in networking, server management, cloud technologies, and security. Network Management:
Maintain and improve network infrastructure (Internet, P-to-P, LAN, Wi-Fi) for security, reliability, and efficiency.
Manage on-premise and VMware-hosted Windows servers, networking hardware (switches, WAPs), and ensure remote access via VPN and MFA.
Mobile Workforce Support:
Oversee MSP resources to prioritize support requests and troubleshoot on-site and remote laptops.
Maintain standard laptop images and configure systems for deployment.
Manage cloud-based software platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS) and secure file-sharing (sFTP, SharePoint).
Support VoIP, video conferencing, and A/V needs for meetings.
Security & Compliance:
Work with the Information Security team to manage risks, deploy patches, and maintain ISO 27001 certification.
Maintain access control and compliance documentation.
Create IT training and user documentation.
Teamwork & Improvement:
Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and vendors to improve technology processes and efficiency.
Qualifications
Who You Are
The ideal candidate will have a proven record of accomplishment with the following:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, and 7+ years of IT support experience.
Strong networking skills, including managing cloud-based servers, networking hardware, and laptop deployment.
Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, cloud apps (Microsoft 365, AWS), and secure communications (sFTP, VPN).
Knowledge of information security concepts (encryption, MFA, firewalls).
Exceptional customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
Ability to oversee MSP resources and adapt to changing priorities.
