If you are looking for the opportunity to join a new and exciting airline that offers the chance to make your mark on aviation history, keep reading!PURPOSE: We are seeking an energetic and collaborative Onboarding Coordinator who will play a vital role in supporting new hire processes in Avelo’s Support Center located in Houston, TX.
The DER Coordinator is responsible for new hire badging, assisting with the DOT and non-DOT random Drug Program, Pilot PRIA, DOT 2-year History Forms for New Hires and becoming fully trained as a drug program specialist.This is an entry level position, and we are willing to train the ideal candidate who demonstrates the ability and desire to learn.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and manage Avelo’s employee badging program, ensuring adherence to company policies and security protocols
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and non-DOT random drug testing programs
- Administer and manage background checks for prospective and current employees, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy
- Handle and process record requests for DOT verifications, including PRIA (Pilot Records Improvement Act) and two-year history forms
- Conduct audits of documents such as test results to ensure accuracy and proper filing in accordance with regulatory standards
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Highly capable with all standard business software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Comfortable reading and understanding compliance related regulations and documentation.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Superior time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently while using good judgment to make job-related decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- This is an in-office position in Houston’s Greenway Plaza.
- Must be willing and able to become fully trained as a drug program specialist
