Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Department: Operations
Reports to: Branch Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
The Warehouse Manager should be competent, experienced, personable, a problem solver, reliable, ethical, and able to adapt to the pressures of effectively managing a warehouse and its daily tasks.
Responsibilities
Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
- Ensure Associates follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Thoroughly investigate and report all safety accidents and violations in a timely manner.
- Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads
- Interview, hire, and train new associates.
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
- Follow all procedures for receiving incoming and outgoing products and proper distribution of details to relevant parties
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned and the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.
Requirements
- The individual must be able to assign and direct all work performed in the warehouse and to supervise all areas of operation.
- They must manage staff, foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation.
- Proven warehouse experience in the Heavy-duty Parts industry or similar role is required
- Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices.
- Familiarity with industry’s rules and regulations
- Results driven and customer focused
Requirements
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force repetitively and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, and walking are frequently required.
- Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required.
- Keying data is repetitive motion and is often required.

Education and Qualifications
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in a distribution center
- High School Diploma or equivalent
