Job Title: Inside Sales Associate, Business DevelopmentCompany: Lonestar Integrated SolutionsLocation: Houston, TXJob Type: Full-timeEEO Category: Sales WorkersVETERANS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY Lonestar Integrated Solutions is looking for an Inside Sales Associate who will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
They must be comfortable generating and managing sales leads, providing quotations, entering orders, managing customer projects, and contributing to overall business growth.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely quotations based on customer requirements
- Manage the order entry process, ensuring that all orders are processed correctly and efficiently
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, logistics, warehouse, etc.) to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Oversee the management and execution of customer projects, ensuring timely delivery, proper documentation, and communication throughout the lifecycle
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met
- Coordinate with freight carriers and provide status reports as needed
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the project process and work to resolve them
- Identify and target new business opportunities in key segments, including EV Charging, Electrical Switchgear, and general electrical supply
- Engage with potential customers via phone and email interactions to generate leads and assist in closing sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients
- Follow up on inbound leads, provide solutions, and guide customers through the sales process
- Wear multiple hats as needed to support the overall sales process and contribute to the growth of the business
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks, including maintaining customer or vendor records, data entry, invoicing, and reporting
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven inside sales experience in the electrical supply and distribution industry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence
- Proficient with corporate productivity and business technology
- Experience working with popular CRM systems, especially Epicor Solar Eclipse
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises.
