STATEMENT

DUTIES:
Working independently and/or with other technical and operational personnel, the candidate will oversee the maintenance and reliability programs to ensure optimal performance of equipment and systems in support of operational goals. This position requires a well-rounded individual with strong leadership skills, capable of managing maintenance schedules, troubleshooting issues, and implementing reliability improvements in alignment with safety, regulatory, and standard operating procedures. The candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective collaboration with internal departments, vendors, and management.
A solid mechanical and technical aptitude, along with the ability to prioritize tasks and ensure compliance with company policies, is essential. Limited travel may be required, depending on operational needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stabilis Solutionsretainstherighttomodifyorchangethedutiesoressentialfunctionsof the jobat anytime.· Manage and oversee day-to-day maintenance and reliability activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment and systems.· Develop, implement, and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and minimize unplanned downtime.· Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring alignment with operational goals and minimizing disruptions to production activities.· Supervise and mentor maintenance personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth and a culture of excellence.· Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues with equipment, including piping, valves, actuators, pumps, motors, control systems, and instrumentation.· Collaborate with engineering and technical support teams to resolve complex equipment problems and implement long-term reliability solutions.· Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards, environmental regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).· Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and spare parts inventory to support operational planning and compliance requirements. · Proactively identify and address potential reliability risks, developing strategies to enhance equipment performance and efficiency. · Continuously monitor team performance and operational metrics, implementing improvements to optimize maintenance processes and reduce costs.· Review and approve employee time sheets, maintenance-related expenses, and vendor invoices, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations and logistics, to support company goals and initiatives.Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.· 5-7+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or asset management roles, preferably in the energy or industrial sectors.· Proven experience in managing maintenance teams and coordinating complex maintenance or repair activities.· In-depth knowledge of maintenance and reliability principles, including preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.· Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, including pumps, motors, valves, and control systems.· Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and asset performance monitoring tools.· Familiarity with applicable state, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.· Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience training and mentoring maintenance teams.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders.· Ability to create and present detailed reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and reliability improvements.· Proven ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implement effective solutions.· Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and identify trends for proactive maintenance.· Capability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet operational objectives.· Ability to work in industrial environments, including exposure to heat, noise, and confined spaces.· Willingness to travel occasionally to support operations at various job sites.· Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle including rental vehicles.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
· The Maintenance and Reliability Manager is office-based at the Stabilis’ corporate office in Houston, or from the George West, TX equipment yard location.· The position involves activities such as standing, sitting, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, lifting, and carrying tools or equipment as needed. May occasionally require lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.· Work may occur in industrial type environments, including outdoor settings with varying climate conditions, exposure to noise, and working near heavy machinery.· On-call availability may be required during nights, weekends, and holidays to address critical maintenance needs or emergencies.· Occasional travel to job sites is necessary to oversee maintenance activities and support operational goals.
Approved travel expenses will be reimbursed as per company policy.· All company sites and office locations are designated as smoke-free and drug-free environments.

WORK SCHEDULE:
The Maintenance and Reliability Manager will typically work a standard full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with core hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility in working hours may be required to meet operational demands, including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends. Urgent maintenance issues or emergencies outside regular business hours may be necessary. Travel to job sites, when required, will be scheduled based on operational needs and project timelines.Salary Description$120,000.00-$145,000.00
