About the role


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Channel Partnership (Community), HK, you will be responsible for building and expanding Airwallex’s key partner relationships in Hong Kong to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition as well as various forms of product integrations and co-marketing opportunities. We are seeking a strategic, data driven Channel Partnership Manager to support the Hong Kong Marketing team. You will work closely with marketing teammates and other members of the commercial team to develop and implement a winning lead generation and partnership strategy.

Responsibilities



  • Acquire relationships with strategic and community partners, such as foreign chambers, industry associations, government councils end-to-end (prospecting, meetings, contracting, onboarding and on-going management/ activation, particularly within e-commerce and trading sectors).

  • Build allyship with key partners/industries (such as ad platforms, eCommerce platforms, logistics partners), developing risk mitigation strategies and engaging ecosystems to bring the best of Airwallex to solve industry challenges.

  • Deepen relationships with key partners to strengthen executive relationships.

  • Strategically orchestrate and deliver regular brand-building and lead-generation events with community and key partners.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams within Airwallex, including legal, strategy, operations and finance where required to deliver a seamless experience for our partners.

Requirements



  • 5+ years’ experience in partnership, marketing or business development.

  • Experience driving complex negotiations for partner marketing initiatives.

  • Experience working with relevant industry associations and bodies.

  • Experience in negotiation and partnership proposal development is preferred.

  • Experience in strategy/ops or working in tech or a fast-growing start-up would be advantageous.

  • Experience in event planning and management.

  • Excellent communication skill that enables close working relationships with key leaders internally and externally.

  • Excellent written, verbal and in-person communication skills (Chinese & English). Familiarity with additional languages is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience with tools including Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
