We are seeking Systems Engineer who will support the Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) Program Office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. You will also be responsible for systems engineering technical expertise in development, integration, operational, and sustainment for various UAS systems. You will participate in Integrated Product Teams, working groups, use Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, and understand Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) principles.
You will prepare and deliver reports and briefings to the customer describing program status, issues, analyses, findings, results, recommendations, and conclusions as appropriate. To accomplish this, you'll need excellent communication skills and to embrace a highly motivated team environment.
Required
- BS in related field
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) experience using Rhapsody SysML, System Architect, RSA, Rhapsody Harmony SE, Rhapsody DoDAF, RoseRT, and Cameo MagicDraw
- Familiarity with military aviation regulations and standards, such as MIL-STD-882E (Standard Practice for System Safety) and MIL-STD-1797A (Aviation System Safety Management).
- Experience with the development of systems/sub-systems requirements, systems and software integration, developmental and operational test planning and execution preferred.
- Some travel
- Must have an in-scope Secret level security clearance

- MS in related field
- Preferred experience with requirements development, decomposition, and trace experience using DOORS and ReqPro on acquisition defense programs.
- Preferred experience with Uncrewed Systems
- Preferred experience with aviation system development and engineering
- Preferred experience with Agile development methodology.
- Preferred experience with Mounted Mission Command platform and NOC systems.
