The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis will lead the financial operations for their respective business line and contribute to the development of the business segment strategic goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Financial Operations with an insurance background.
- Strong leadership, financial analysis and technical accounting skills required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Oracle skills.
- SOX Compliance and audit experience a plus highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
- Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated.
- Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
Primary Job Functions:
- Oversee and manage the continued development of strategic planning, annual budgeting, and rolling forecast preparation and analysis.
- Prepare monthly business segment/unit operations analysis.
- Provide business segment/unit finance and M&A support.
- Business segment/unit general ledger maintenance & control.
- Oversee Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports including Statutory and GAAP Insurance reporting.
- Supporting Senior Executive Team with in-depth analysis.
- Prepare presentations to Senior Management Team/Board of Directors and key Investors
- Enhance rating agency capital modeling.
- Operational and pricing analysis and modeling.
- Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis.
