Job Description


SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE:


At the direction of the Regional Director, the Regional Technical Leader (RTL) will coordinate the operation of a discipline-specific Team of Experts within a defined geographical location. Assuring QA/QC in the delivery of the Envista Product, the RTL will provide technical and operational training and oversight to their respective Team.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Maintain the Technical Standards as adopted by the Technical Directors.
  • Conduct technical training for their assigned staff under the guidance of the discipline-specific Technical Director. Also recommends and assists in developing and conducting training and continuing education.
  • Review and evaluate staff performance in areas of technical quality, meeting Client and Envista's expected levels of service, including through the technical review process, and coaches' performance as required.
  • Assist the Regional Director in achieving regional financial goals defined by the regional budget.
  • Monitor consultant availability, workload, and report delivery, ensuring compliance with applicable SLAs. Drive matter assignment for their reports while ensuring levels are managed to be within company guidelines and compliant with policies, objectives, and technical performance standards.
  • Works with sales and marketing personnel to determine and accommodate customer needs and ensure Client satisfaction via Client relationships and direct marketing at industry conferences.
  • Periodically accompanies field consultants on assignments to evaluate and confirm methodologies, capabilities, and conclusions.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Demonstrates ability to supervise and lead people remotely. Possesses strong investigative skills of a technical nature. Ability to think analytically and objectively. Proficiency in a variety of office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet communication tools; sound written and oral business communication skills, including formatting and preparation of memoranda, letters, and reports; fine and gross motor skills, as well as mental requirements to operate standard office equipment; time management, prioritization, and organizational skills; excellent interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills; demonstrates teamwork, compassion and respect toward others as well as integrity, accountability and adherence to the standards of ethical behavior and professional conduct, and a commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.  

  • 5+ years of experience within the specific discipline within the industry (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Professional Engineering designation is required for engineering disciplines
  • IAAI-CFI is required for the fire investigation discipline
  • Must be bondable and licensed as a private investigator where required.
  • Testimony/Deposition experience preferred
  • Must be available for overnight travel both domestically and internationally
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in a work capacity
  • Ability to work in inclement weather and various environmental conditions
  • Ability to work in high areas such as roofs or scaffolding, requiring physical agility, balance, and resistance to acrophobia.

The pay range for this position is $140,000-175,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. ​
