This critical role will be responsible for a variety of duties in support of the company’s overall talent strategy.
The Consultant focuses on driving organizational success through strategic performance management, talent assessment, succession planning, and leadership development. This role leverages data and metrics to enhance employee performance, identify high-potential talent, and build leadership pipelines aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Performance Management
Design and manage the organization’s performance management process, including goal-setting, continuous feedback processes, and mid-year and annual evaluations.
Deliver training to managers to ensure effective performance management
Ensure alignment of individual and team goals with organizational objectives to maximize productivity.
Talent Assessment and Succession Planning
Develop and implement a robust talent assessment process to identify high-potential talent, determine skill gaps, and analyze data to inform our talent management strategies.
Collaborate with leadership to create and maintain a robust succession planning strategy for critical roles.
Develop materials and help coordinate talent reviews and calibration sessions to evaluate employee performance and potential.
Track and maintain talent pipelines to ensure organizational readiness for future growth.
Leadership Development
Design and execute leadership development programs to build managerial and executive capabilities.
Provide coaching and mentoring to high-potential employees and leaders to prepare them for advanced roles.
Recommend and manage external leadership training resources and programs as needed.
Support the development of new managers and their transition into leadership roles.
Talent Metrics and Reporting
Define and track key talent management metrics (e.g., retention rates, leadership readiness, and succession health).
Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in talent strategies.
Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership on talent outcomes and program effectiveness
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in performance management, talent assessment, succession planning, or leadership development.
Proficiency in HR analytics tools and talent management systems (Workday preferred).
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with great attention to detail.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for influencing stakeholders and facilitating talent discussions.
Experience in change management and aligning talent strategies with business transformations.
Experience with competency modeling and leadership development frameworks
Work Location:
This is a hybrid position based out of our Zionsville, IN, office located at 10555 Group 1001 Way. All candidates must be local to the Indianapolis metro area and willing to commute to that office on a regular basis.
