Fanbase is built for the creator culture, and everyone can be a business on Fanbase.Position Overview: We seek a proactive and dynamic Social & Community Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team and drive community engagement and growth to the next level. The ideal candidate will deeply understand the creator economy and be immersed in Black American culture, creativity, and the pulse of modern digital communities.Your mission: To grow Fanbase’s diverse community, foster engagement, and elevate our brand presence.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a social content mix and calendar, ensuring consistent alignment with the Fanbase brand voice.
- Use Sprout Social to post, schedule, and report on social campaigns.
- Respond quickly and empathetically to current trends, community inquiries, and feedback.
- Develop and implement innovative community engagement strategies to drive conversations and connections that lead to creator growth.
- Inspire and moderate discussions and content to maintain a positive and inclusive community environment.
- Collaborate with marketing and product colleagues and support teams to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Analyze data to measure community engagement and identify areas for growth.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in tools like Slack, Notion, and Sprout Social.
- Basic skills with Adobe Creative Suite, ChatGPT, and other generative AI tools for creating social content.
- Strong project and time management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with social analytics tools and their role in digital marketing.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) with an empathetic and responsive communication style.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- 2-4 years of experience in social media management or community marketing roles.
- Passion for and understanding of the creator economy, social media platforms, and direct-to-consumer ecosystems.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- A results-driven, solutions-oriented mindset with creative and innovative thinking.
