Check out our GOASGwebsite.Role Overview:As a Document Control intern at ASG, your role is to support the document management processes within by ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant handling of records and quality documents.
This role involves assisting with document creation, revisions, reviews, approvals, and archiving in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Document Management:
- Assist in organizing and maintaining physical and digital documents.
- Ensure all documents are up to date, stored correctly, and easily accessible.
- Collaboration with Teams:
- Work closely with different teams to support their document control needs.
- Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Assist in entering document metadata into document management systems.
- Assist in keeping track of documents' statuses, ensuring deadlines and reviews are met.
- Assisting in Training:
- Occasionally help with training set up and assist in documentation as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in one of the following:
- Business Administration
- Library and Information Science
- Quality Management or Operations Management
- Technical Writing or Professional Communication
- Engineering
- Information Systems or Data Management
- Communication
Skills:
- Attention to Detail: Able to carefully review documents and ensure accuracy in all tasks, paying close attention to small details to avoid errors.
- Organizational Skills: Capable of keeping tasks, files, and documents well-organized and easily accessible, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
- Microsoft Office: Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to assist with various document control and administrative tasks.
