FIELDBOOK, a studio operated by High Alpha Innovation, is dedicated to creating and accelerating advantaged retail value chain startups. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Coordinator on a part-time contract basis to lead an early-stage growth company in Bentonville, Arkansas, with the potential for this role to transition to full-time employment after business launch and incorporation.Our newest concept is Coaxial Collective (“Coaxial”). With this new startup, we’re accelerating a major shift in retail led by YouTube Creators, who’ve redefined consumer engagement over the past decade.

With over $24B flowing annually into influencer marketing—and growing fast—we see an enormous opportunity to unlock the next wave of growth by equipping Creators to launch products directly in partnership with retail giants in Northwest Arkansas. This platform will unite Content Creators with similar audiences to amplify their reach, increase ad revenue, leverage shared resources, and launch relevant consumer products. This platform will help creators diversify their revenue streams and build long-term wealth beyond their YouTube channels.As the Social Media Coordinator and early-stage team member, you will be responsible for strengthening each Creator’s YouTube community, partnering with Coaxial creative leads on community feedback, and eventually building strategic plans for each Creator’s engagement across other social channels.

You will work to build conviction with the YouTube community, as you extend each Creator’s fan outreach. You will also advise Coaxial Creators on ways to improve their community engagement and facilitate appropriate connections. This is a unique opportunity to be a zero-to-one participant for a well-supported and funded early-stage business on a flexible, part-time basis.The ideal candidate will possess a background in social media or online community building. Additionally, the candidate will be able to articulate a clear understanding of YouTube policies, trends, and social engagement best practices. The successful candidate is preferably a Creator with an understanding of the behind-the-scenes operations of content creation, channel management, and community management. What You'll Do/Responsibilities:


  • As the Social Media Coordinator for Coaxial Collective, focused on building communities that love their Creators, you will lead the planning and execution of community engagement on a part-time contract basis. Reporting directly to the Fieldbook Studio leadership team, you will be responsible for:
  • Community Playbook Development: Meet with each Creator to develop a “Voice of the Creator” guide that aligns you and others to their tone of voice,  establish definable boundaries with each Creator on comment types to engage in, and capture everything in a living “Community Playbook” that is updated periodically.
  • Community Responses and Likes: Connect with thousands of Coaxial Creator fans through engaging responses on behalf of each Creator using the Community Playbook as a reference.
  • Creator Validation: Periodically check in with, and provide reports to, Coaxial Creators to share community sentiment or pattern changes in feedback as a result of content or other experiments. Foster a culture of experimentation, collaboration, and excellence within the team.
  • Serve as a facilitator to shape social media strategy and company vision while building conviction in the community of each Creator.
  • Drive subscriber growth and Creator value while implementing scalable and efficient engagement to ensure consistent results.
  • Align resources to achieve key social media goals and milestones 
  • Report updates to all stakeholders regarding progress on engagement goals
  • Assist in defining, evaluating, and evolving the business by identifying new opportunities and gaps through relationships with Content Creators
  • Create and sustain a great company culture with articulated values that provide inspired leadership and enable a great working relationship to the team across all levels.

Requirements


  • Strong writing and communication skills: Strong emotional intelligence expressed through high-quality writing and verbal communication skills are required, including being able to share thoughts and opinions over text with a high likelihood of being understood. Outstanding ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with remote team members and stakeholders across various levels and functions. Adept at navigating virtual communication channels, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Strong project management skills: Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality results within budget and time constraints. Skilled in project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and progress tracking.

  • Self-motivated and results-oriented: A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for social media and content creation. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, work independently, and consistently deliver exceptional results that exceed expectations.
