About this role
As a Sales Development Representative at Tenon, you’ll play a critical role in driving our growth by identifying and engaging with prospective customers. You will connect marketing departments at Fortune 1000 companies to the transformative power of Tenon, leveraging the ServiceNow platform and collaborating with Tenon’s sales and marketing teams to build a robust pipeline.
What You’ll Do at Tenon
- Prospect and Qualify Leads: Research and engage with potential customers via email, phone, and social channels to uncover opportunities within marketing departments.
- Leverage Partnerships: Work closely with the ServiceNow field sales team to identify prospects and co-sell opportunities, positioning Tenon as a value-added solution.
- Educate and Build Interest: Thoughtfully communicate Tenon’s value proposition to prospects, highlighting how our platform addresses challenges in marketing operations, project management, and campaign execution.
- Pipeline Development: Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified opportunities for follow-up.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline progress
- Feedback Loop: Provide insights from customer interactions to Tenon’s product and marketing teams, helping to refine messaging and identify new opportunities.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Experience: 1–2 years in a sales or customer-facing role, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise marketing technology. Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior-level prospects.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce and sales enablement platforms.
- Hunger for Success: A self-starter mindset with a passion for prospecting, pipeline building, and exceeding targets.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work cross-functionally and partner with Account Executives and marketing teams to drive success.
