EngageProiQ, a Helm Technologies platform, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team, and lead SaaS-based automotive marketing solutions to another level of Engagement & Intelligence. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth by building relationships with automotive dealerships, dealer groups, and related industry partners within an assigned region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of SaaS sales, automotive lifecycle marketing, and a proven track record of crushing sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Business Development: Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities with automotive dealerships and dealer groups within your assigned territory.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, including General Managers, Marketing Directors, and Dealer Principals, to understand their unique needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Product Expertise: Effectively articulate the value and features of EngageProiQ’s automotive marketing SaaS products, including customer engagement platforms, retention solutions, and analytics.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed revenue targets, leveraging a deep understanding of the automotive industry and marketing solutions.
  • Presentations & Demos: Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting how our SaaS solutions can solve client challenges and deliver measurable ROI.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and market opportunities to inform sales strategies and identify new growth areas.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, and Performance Managers, to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Track and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and forecasts, ensuring transparency and alignment with company goals.

Requirements

  • Experience:
  • 3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in automotive SaaS marketing.
  • Ability to provide a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing deals with C-suite or senior decision-makers.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations and marketing challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and familiarity with SaaS sales methodologies.
  • Self-starter mentality with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Travel:
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region to prospect, meet with clients and attend industry events as needed.
