Title: Senior Solutions Architect - Data Center

Description
The Ideal candidate will be experienced In Data Center technologies with an understanding of how to design and secure technologies in a Modern Datacenter environment. The role requires technical expertise with Cisco, Nvidia, HPE, and Dell Technologies, along with extensive knowledge of data center security practices and federal compliance standards. The ideal candidate will design and implement secure, scalable, and mission-critical architectures that meet the unique challenges of federal agencies while addressing stringent security requirements.
Responsibilities
- Architect secure and scalable modern data center solutions leveraging Cisco (ACI, Nexus, UCS), Nvidia GPUs, and NetApp or HPE/Dell servers and storage systems.
- Design hybrid and multi-cloud solutions using platforms such as AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and private cloud environments tailored to federal missions.
- Implement data center security solutions aligned with federal cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST 800-53, FISMA, RMF, and FedRAMP.
- Integrate advanced security measures, such as zero-trust architecture, encryption technologies, secure networking, and endpoint protection, into data center solutions.
- Ensure all architectures comply with federal regulations and guidelines, including HIPAA, CUI, and ITAR where applicable.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance on data center modernization and security best practices.
- Work with Federal Agencies to shape discussions around AI/ML.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with a focus on Data Center in the Federal Government with 8+ years of experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Familiarity with Federal security compliance requirements, including FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, and FISMA.
- Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, including principles, frameworks, and implementation strategies tailored for cloud and on-premises environments.
- Strong background in data center security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, and encryption.
- Expertise in Cisco ACI, Nexus, and UCS technologies for secure networking and compute infrastructure.
- Expertise in designing storage solutions using technologies from HPE, NetApp, Dell, VAST Data, or Pure Storage.
- Knowledge of Nvidia GPUs for AI/ML workloads and high--performance computing.
- Proficiency in HPE and Dell server/storage platforms and associated security features.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V, or OpenShift) and secure hybrid cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCIE (especially Security or Data Center focus), Nvidia Data Center AI certifications, HPE ASE or Dell EMC Proven Professional certifications.
- Optional Certifications in cloud security, such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty or Azure Security Engineer.
- Experience with federal contracting or government security projects.
Work Conditions
- This role may require eligibility for a U.S. Federal Government security clearance (up to Top Secret).
- Location: Remote. Washington D.C area a plus (National Capital Region).
- Travel as needed.
