The Millwright/Apprentice is responsible for maintenance, and repair of machinery, with a particular emphasis on pumps, motors and valves.Some of the exciting things you will do in this role...
- Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery, focusing on pumps, motors and valves.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Establish and maintain QC standards and testing requirements of repaired equipment.
- Evaluate and report on customer owned equipment, and as required performing failure analysis and system diagnostics support.
- Participate in training and learning programs to improve skills and knowledge in the millwright trade.
Nice to have…
- Experience working as a millwright, with a focus on pump systems.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, bearings, and gearboxes.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
