Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Creative Resourcing Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing the allocation of creative resources across various projects to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. The Creative Resourcing Manager will work closely with creative leaders, creative producers, and other stakeholders to balance workloads, identify resource needs, and streamline processes.
Responsibilities:
- Resource Allocation: Manage and allocate creative resources effectively across multiple projects, ensuring optimal utilization and timely delivery.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with creative producers and creative leads to understand project requirements and timelines and assign appropriate resources.
- Workflow Optimization: Develop and implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and consistency in resource management.
- Talent Management: Identify skill gaps and coordinate with the Creative Operations team to recommend recruiting and/or training as needed.
- Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders to provide updates on resource availability, project status, and potential bottlenecks.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to monitor resource utilization, forecast future needs, and make data-driven decisions to improve resource management processes.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and production, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of creative resources with project goals.
- External Partnerships: Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, freelancers, and agencies to supplement internal resources and ensure access to specialized skills and expertise when needed.
- Industry Expertise: Leverage knowledge of creative roles in the experience, live events and/or exhibits industry to effectively allocate resources and ensure the highest standards of quality and innovation.
- Technical Proficiency: Understand the skill sets and software required for designers working in 3D/environmental disciplines and large-scale graphics, including tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in creative arts, Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in a creative or design agency is essential.
- Proven experience in resource management, preferably within a creative or design environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of the live events and exhibits industry, including trends, best practices, and key players.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CRM systems and other resource management tools.
- Knowledge of the creative process and familiarity with various creative roles and responsibilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
