Senior Business Analyst


Copper River Cyber Solutions is seeking a 
Senior Business Analyst to work under the Team Lead’s direction to conduct extensive research, monitor business operations and processes, and support portfolio health awareness by developing and maintaining resource management-related resources. The Senior Business Analyst supports high-quality information dissemination by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Chief of Staff (CoS) for informed decision-making.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):


  • Work within a team of technical and analytical experts to provide detailed analysis that enables the discovery and recommendations towards solutions for the existing and future requirements, programs, and initiatives for DHA.
  • Provide the CoS Resource Manager (RM) with the appropriate interfaces, tools, dashboards, writeups, and other artifacts that enable the most effective decision-making.
  • Support the development of tools, dashboards, or other artifacts.
  • Support the team in drafting Executive-level reporting (written, presentation decks, and oral).
  • Provides support for contract and finance oversight and tracking.
  • Maintains a keen awareness of financial and contract-enabling requirements and the status associated with planned actions.
  • Proactively identify ways to improve current processes.
  • Interpret and simplify business requirements for easy analysis and decision-making while being highly responsive to changing business priorities.
  • Drive the collation of information from relevant sources for analysis and reporting to foster informed decision-making for major positive business impact.

Essential Job Requirements:


  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science/finance/business with 3-5 years of experience.

  • Required Knowledge/Experience:

  • Extensive experience with data analysis, risk analysis, and dashboard development and maintenance.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of DoD and federal government procurement practices.
  • DHA Experience preferred
  • Must have oral and written presentation skills to a large audience.
  • Possesses and consistently demonstrates effective and efficient time management practices.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI.
