About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a General Warehouse Associate at our Plainfield location. As a General Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of merchandise in our warehouse. You will work closely with other team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success in this role. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Forklift certification
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Ability to work flexible hours
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming merchandise
- Pick and fill orders from stock
- Pack and ship orders to customers
- Perform inventory control and quality assurance activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
As a General Warehouse Associate, you will use your attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure the accurate processing of merchandise. You will also use your physical abilities to lift and move merchandise as needed. Basic computer skills will be necessary to perform inventory control and quality assurance activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will be essential to work effectively with other team members.
