Position Summary:
The Business Analyst is a critical role within the EESOH-MIS team, responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to define and prioritize features, writing user stories, and ensuring the team delivers value aligned with the business goals. Working within the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment, the Business Analyst will facilitate communication, ensure alignment across teams, and support the delivery of high-quality products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine business requirements.
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Conduct impact analysis to assess how proposed solutions affect existing systems, processes, and team goals.
- Partner with Product Owners to prioritize and groom backlogs.
- Facilitate workshops and collaboration sessions to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
- Work closely with Scrum Masters, Development Teams, and Testers to ensure successful implementation of user stories.
- Support PI (Program Increment) Planning by preparing business context, vision, and objectives.
- Contribute to defining and refining features, enablers, and epics for the team.
- Ensure alignment of work with organizational goals and the SAFe Lean-Agile principles.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and Agile teams, ensuring clarity of requirements and priorities.
- Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain documentation to provide a clear understanding of processes and deliverables.
- Analyze and refine processes to improve team efficiency and product quality.
- Support teams in adopting and leveraging Agile and SAFe tools and techniques.
- Gather and incorporate feedback to optimize workflows and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) processes
- Experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile or SAFe environment.
- SAFe certification (e.g., SAFe Practitioner, SAFe Agilist) preferred.
- Understanding of SAFe principles, Agile practices, and Lean-Agile mindset.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
