We are seeking an experienced Regional Vice President (RVP) to lead our Southern Region sales team. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact our national sales strategy and contribute to our growth. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Sales, the RVP will manage a team of Regional Sales Managers, Territory Account Managers, and Manufacturers Representative Agents across 5 sales territories in 11 Southern states. The RVP will develop and execute the national sales strategy for distribution and product sales to end users and electrical contractors.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the sales team
- Develop plans to increase sales revenue
- Provide insights in senior staff meetings
- Address challenges and foster a positive work environment
- Oversee internal management areas
- Assist in hiring and retaining staff
- Analyze sales data and trends
- Promote the company value proposition
- Build relationships with senior management at channels and end users
- Identify new business opportunities
- Lead account teams and ensure client satisfaction
- Write strategic communication plans
- Meet revenue targets and manage budgets
- Improve internal systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of sales management experience or related sales experience, (electrical/manufacturing/distribution industry preferred).
- Superior writing, editing, and public speaking skills.
- Experience in developing communication and campaign strategies.
- Ability to manage and mentor junior staff.
- Exemplary project management skills.
- Knowledge of issues related to NSI customer interests.
- Must reside in the region and be near a major airport.
