Who we seek:
We’re seeking a Senior Data Analyst for the research team, reporting to the VP, Data Science and Analytics. The research team is based in Tel Aviv and deals with rapid innovation, prototyping, and detailed research of regulations and policies. As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll be part of a team that creates the most advanced and comprehensive tools for discovering sensitive data. Our ideal candidate is someone who has hands-on experience in researching online resources (incl. websites and documents) and using pattern detection/regex techniques to uncover sensitive information within them.
What you’ll do:
- Research various privacy and security standards (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)
- Work with customers and support teams to maximize data classification insights and to fine-tune accuracy
- Explore and do deep searches for sample documents and content in various online resources
- Create advanced Regex and NLP classifiers to help detect sensitive information through patterns
- Produce and maintain relevant test scripts as part of our continuous testing system
- Coordinate the team’s activities and serve as a knowledge hub
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in scientific and/or linguistic fields - must
- Experience with online research, data extraction/scraping, and accuracy measurements (false positives/negatives)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with customers and support teams to enhance data solutions – strong advantage
- Proven experience in information technology - strong advantage
- Experience with Regex - strong advantage
- Experience with Python/Java programming languages - strong advantage
- Experience with data labeling tools - advantage
- Familiarity with checksum/validation methods - advantage
- Language skills in languages other than Hebrew and English - advantage
- Wide areas of interest and general knowledge as well as a passion for learning
- A reputation for being organized, self-motivated, and a team player
