is a full-service advertising agency, built from the ground up to meet the evolving needs of modern healthcare brands. We are looking for an full-time Copy Supervisor.The Copy Supervisor is our client’s day-to-day copy lead, as well as the mentor to 1-2 more junior writers. They are the subject matter expert for multiple healthcare/pharmaceutical brands, fully absorbing complex data such as clinical trial results, market landscape analyses, and competitive intelligence. They apply that knowledge to the brand’s core messages, creating persuasive, compelling copy across all digital and print channels.
The Copy Supervisor also helps coach their direct reports to learn the same skills.The Copy Supervisor works closely with an art director partner to contribute creative campaign concepts for both existing clients and new business efforts and can present these ideas with passion, clarity, and a keen mind for strategy.Candidates must be able to prioritize work and multitask to complete projects efficiently. They can build client relationships by confidently presenting their work and thinking on their feet to offer smart, strategic solutions. They must be a self-motivated partner who can work in a team-based, fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Lead copy creation and revision for multiple healthcare brands
- Mentor and supervise 1-2 more junior writers
- Clearly and effectively present work both internally and to clients
- Serve as a brand’s subject matter expert by absorbing key brand data (clinical, market, and competitive) and how it applies to the brand’s core messages
- Meet internal and external deadlines and ensure smooth workflows by delegating as needed
- Work with art director partners to develop campaign concepts
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of copywriting experience in a creative agency, including writing for a consumer audience
- Experience in healthcare/wellness would be beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, advertising, English, or a related field
- Understanding of and ability to work with scientific concepts, information, and data
- A portfolio that demonstrates writing skill and conceptual expertise in multichannel campaigns
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A passionate curiosity about healthcare and medical science
