SMX is seeking a
Program Manager responsible for providing project oversight supporting the United States Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (ICoE) Chief Information Officer (CIO)/G6. The ICoE is responsible for the institutional training and education of Military Intelligence (MI) Soldiers and Leaders of all ranks. ICoE has the largest and most complex Information Technology (IT) architecture in Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), with a key component being the Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A).

Responsibilities & Essential Duties


  • Serves as the primary program point of contact and makes decisions regarding daily operations.
  • Responsible for establishing clear organizational lines of authority and responsibility to ensure effective management and execution of the project resources assigned to the requirement(s).
  • Responsible for maintaining consistent communication with and providing timely response to PCO, G6, and Government Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) inquiries.
  • Ensures all measures taken during the performance of this contract comply with ICoE G6 standards and procedures and that it manages the timeliness, completeness, and quality of problem identification and resolution.
  • May be responsible for managing periods of work requiring extended hours, weekends, and periods where 24 hour training/operation support may be required for one or multiple consecutive days.

Required Skills and Experience


  • Must hold a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Business. May substitute four years of experience in program management in lieu of Bachelor degree.
  • Associates degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Business required (non-waiverable).
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification required.
  • Must have familiarity with procedures for disposition, transport, handling, and maintenance of equipment operating at levels of security classification of Secret and Top Secret/SCI.
  • Must be eligible for a TS/SCI security clearance.

Desired Qualifications


  • 10 years experience managing large organizations (military or large training organizations a plus).
  • Experience leading projects conducting systems analysis, systems management, networks management, and software development.
  • Experience managing classified systems and networks at the Secret and TS/SCI levels.
